Neurofeedback - Only

The shortest session our clinic offers involves neurofeedback-only. You will be invited to sit in our comfortable recliner and will receive a neurofeedback session listening to soft relaxing music. This session is most popular for individuals who are paying out-of-pocket and do not require an Occupational Therapy receipt. Packages can be purchased of 10 sessions for $650.

Strategies to help with coping, recovery, and healing are taught in sessions, coupled with neurofeedback to supplement each session to build resilience through this brain training tool.

WSIB Occupational Therapy Session

These sessions are for those who have approved funding from WSIB for Occupational Therapy. Neurofeedback is one of the tools we use in each session, along with cognitive therapy, psychotherapy, and skills training.


First Visit NF Only

Rose Carey, is an Occupational Therapist and has gained a variety of experience working with individuals with neurological conditions, chronic pain, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries, and mental health conditions. Throughout her clinical practice, she has developed an interest in specializing in rehabilitation with individuals with neurological conditions (predominantly traumatic brain injury and stroke conditions). Rose’s clinical experience spans a variety of community, hospital and outpatient programs. She is committed to practicing patient-centred care, with an emphasis on empowering individuals to guide their rehabilitation journey as they reintegrate into the community following injury. More recently, she has learned the many benefits of neurofeedback and has integrated such into her clinical practice. Rose recognizes the importance of continued education. She is an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer, a certified Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA assessor), and Brain FX Assessor. Rose completed a Bachelor of Art, Honours Kinesiology from Brock University and went on to earn her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. Rose is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.

Christine is a compassionate social worker who works grounded in anti-oppression principles and works with a variety of therapeutic modalities that include primarily Narrative Therapy, as well as Hypnosis, Mindfulness, Expressive Arts Therapy, CBT, and DBT. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S.W. and is currently completing a clinical master’s degree. Passionate about fostering positive changes, Christine helps individuals to overcome life’s challenges. Christine is available for in-person and virtual appointments.

Jill Lacroix is a second-year occupational therapy student at Western University here in London. She chose to pursue this profession because of its holistic and client-centred approach to promoting meaningful activity in all walks of life. Jill has previously obtained an honours bachelor’s degree in the health sciences from the University of Ottawa, where she specialized in population and public health. Rebecca is a compassionate, non-judgemental Social Worker with experience working in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Her own personal experience within the healthcare system as someone with a benign brain tumor (her right eye is closed because of this) drives her ambition to listen and support those requiring counselling services.

Rebecca’s clinical experience ranges from working with children to older adults. Rebecca has extensive involvement with the LGBTQ2S+ community, newcomer populations, those struggling with addictions, issues related to domestic violence and abuse, as well as parenting and relationships. Her focus is addressing past and current experiences of trauma and mental health, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-image, grief/loss, disAbility and PTSD. Rebecca uses a holistic approach in counselling with a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens to help those cope with the challenges they are facing. She uses various modalities of treatment including talk-therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and EFT techniques.
